We know you will represent us well - as a Lake City poet once wrote, "after all, people, not buildings, make a city great or small; buildings crumble, but character foundations never fall." We will follow your trip and wish you well until you return to Lake City safely.

Hi Team

Wishing you every success in your forthcoming adventure. Visit us with an open mind and we will welcome you with open arms.

I will be there on Sunday to be the first to carry your bags and escort you to Swansea. We will also link up in Plymouth to exchange presentations.

Enjoy every minute.

Hello Future Rotary World Travelers,

I want to tell y’all how PROUD we all are that you will be representing Rotary District 7770, South Carolina & the good old USA. Your team leader Rick tells me you are ready… really ready, and can’t wait to start your trip. I wish I was going with you! This will be an experience like no other; an opportunity to travel, learn the Wales culture, established new friendships, share our way of life and professions with our “neighbors” in Wales and put back a few “pints” along the way. All this and you will be doing it all as a TEAM.

Enjoy it all. You are prepared.

Please share your time in Wales with us by using this Blog and posting many photos. I am so jealous!

I wish you safe travel and a very successful exchange,

Bernie

A few hours to go so best wishes for a safe and enjoyable flight.

I have just been talking to two Ambassadorial Scholars from SC by the names of Ben Shand & Mike Wright - they are looking good and appear to be enjoying their Cardiff 2006 Link Weekend for all RIBI based scholars.

See you soon,

Mike Parry

The SC Team has landed in Wales (eventually)!

A short note on behalf of Rich to say that he & the team have landed safely in Wales and Rich was last seen sampling a pint of beer in The Dragon Hotel in Swansea (Wales). Unfortunately I do not appear to be able to upload the supporting photographs with this posting!!!!!.
